These terms apply when you use Worthbase (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Worthbase is an online tool for recording and reporting what you and the people or entities you manage own and owe. You use it through AI apps that support connectors, and through your account page.
Not financial or tax advice
Worthbase is a record-keeping and information tool. Nothing in it is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Capital gains and other tax figures are estimates based on what you've recorded and simplified rules, and they may not reflect your actual tax position. Check with a qualified adviser or accountant before making decisions or lodging returns.
Figures depend on the information you and your AI app provide, and on third-party prices and exchange rates that may be delayed or wrong. You're responsible for checking the previews you approve.
Subscription and trial
- Worthbase is a paid service. New subscriptions start with a 3-day free trial, and a payment card is required to start it.
- If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you're charged for the plan and billing period you chose. It then renews automatically each period until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time from your account page. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current period. Payments already made aren't refunded, except where the law requires it.
- Without an active subscription, connected AI apps can't use your workspaces, but you can still sign in and export your data.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of your plan.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Your account
Keep your sign-in secure, and only connect AI apps you trust. You're responsible for what happens in workspaces you own, including what the people you invite do there. Don't use Worthbase unlawfully, try to access other people's data, or interfere with the service.
Your data
Your records belong to you. We use them only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You can export them at any time.
Liability
We work hard to keep Worthbase accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made using figures from the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect. Questions: support@worthbase.app.
